「うわじまアップデート」は、コミュニティFMの番組内コーナーから始まりました。平成30年に起こった西日本豪雨災害。大きな被害を受け立ち直ろうとする「うわじま」の声を、ラジオを通じて国内外に発信するなかで、気がついたことがありました。それは、「うわじま」という街のあちこちには、自分達をもっと表現したい、世界にもっと知って欲しいと願う人たちがいることでした。「うわじまアップデート」は、そんな皆さんの声や形を表現できる場所になればと願います。さあ、「うわじま」をアップデート！
"Uwajima Update" started as an in-program segment of Uwajima's Community FM Radio Program called CSTOYS Toku Wave Radio. After the Western Japan Heavy Rain Disaster left its severe damages in the City in 2018, the radio host Masaki Seike started the radio corner to introduce the challenges the people of Uwajima overcome in the face of disaster recovery and encourage the City and its people. We sincerely hope this site will be a place to express its people's voices discoveries and share them with the world.
